One of our long-time members, Mrs Betty McGowan, passed away suddenly in January at the age of 88. She was well known in Stranraer, particularly for her many years teaching in Park Primary School. Stephen conducted her memorial service, which you can watch below:

Good news for people with disabilities
Mary Hamilton was born in Stranraer, where her dad, Rev. Sam Reid, was minister. She suffers from a rare disability, and in the video below she answers some questions about her disability and her faith in God - and how the two relate.
Update: Mary’s son Caleb has autism. Her husband Billy gave a talk a few months ago entitled ‘How do you cope with children with additional needs'?’
What happens when you die?
In light of the phenomenal death toll in Stranraer, which has been picked up by the national media, Stephen preached a sermon on Sunday morning entitled ‘What happens when you die?’. You can watch it below:
A related series of sermons, preached a couple of years ago, is entitled, One Life. Then What?
If we can be of any help at this difficult time, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
